MANCHESTER UNITED ANNOUNCE AN EXCLUSIVE COLLABORATION WITH ESTEE LAUDER MARKING A FIRST FOR THE BRAND.


Manchester United football club have announced that they will be teaming up with skincare brand ‘Estee Lauder’, the first time the brand will have partnered up with a football team. This collaboration will combine two of the world’s biggest groups of fans into one world, skincare and football, to put forward high performing products to a new selection of fans. 

Both are known as being in the top of their leagues for their respective business so this partnership opens up doors that haven’t been opened before. This brings a sense of community to both the beauty/skincare world and the football/sporting world, no matter which brand you use or which team you support, as it opens up chances for other teams to do the same, with possibilities for more partnerships down the line. 

This “bold vision” will begin with highlighting the ‘Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum’, one of the brands highest sellers and a product that took the beauty industry by storm. The 7-in-1 serum helps optimise the skin for a ‘your skin but better’ kind of look.

Both the team and Estee Lauder hope that this partnership will bring both the community together and bring more sales into both brands, “We look forward to working with Estée Lauder in sharing the power of its Advanced Night Repair serum and encouraging our fans to start their skincare journey with us.” Manchester United’s CEO of Alliances and Partnerships, Victoria Timpson states.

With both United and Estee Lauder having very demographics, this collaboration could be a breakthrough in modern day advertising. This could be the beginning of a more male interest in skincare, or a more female interest in football. Who knows what teams and brands will collaborate in the future? Could we see a Liverpool Football Club and Tresemme partnership on the horizon? Or possibly Tottenham Hotspurs and Head and Shoulders shampoo?

Whatever the cause we hope to see a success in the campaign as the collaboration continues and become more well known.
